This webinar will provide an introduction to the problem of human trafficking, as well as a discussion regarding the patterns of trafficking hotspots in the United States and case-based scenarios that demonstrate how to recognize signs that a person is being trafficked.

Blue Lips Campaign

The My Blue Lips Campaign is a national awareness campaign and fundraiser by the Women of Color Network, Inc. (WOCN, Inc.) with the purpose of bringing attention to domestic violence and sexual assault overall, and to lift up the specific impacts of this violence upon cis and trans women of color who are of Asian, African, Latinx, Native, Middle Eastern and Bi/Multiracial descent.

White House Announces More Than $35 Million in Office for Victims of Crime Funding to Provide Housing to Victims of Human Trafficking

Attorney General Barr announced $35,104,338 in funding to 73 organizations in 34 states to provide safe, stable housing and appropriate services to victims of human trafficking during a roundtable at which grantees and survivors highlighted the impact of this funding, demonstrating the Administration’s unwavering support for victims and survivors of human trafficking through supportive housing.

Housing Access for Survivors in Communities of Color

This teleconference will be an exchange of information. This is an opportunity for programs serving communities of color to learn and share ways to address homelessness and improve housing accessibility. This is also an opportunity for TA providers and funders to hear first-line responders articulate the specific needs of survivors and communities of color.
