“In this webinar, intended for youth justice professionals, presenters helped the attendees understand criminal extremist hate groups’ trends, symbols, locations, communications, targets, and style of recruiting juveniles; understand strategies from a practitioner perspective when working with youth who have been or are at increased risk for being radicalized; learn information based on lived experiences from an ex-extremist; and gain an understanding of the State and Local Anti-Terrorism Training Program, which provides agencies strategies, resources, technical assistance, and grants to prevent targeted violence and hate crimes.”
