MCEDSV, DVS, and MiVAN

In addition to providing emotional support, crisis intervention, education, and other advocacy services, there are concrete resources advocates can provide to help survivors with immediate, short-term, and long-term needs. In this course, you will learn about creating a safety plan with survivors, identifying risks the survivor may face, and connecting survivors with other resources in Michigan and nationally to address needs related to healthcare, legal options and rights, basic needs, allied organizations, and 24/7 hotlines.
