MCEDSV, DVS, and MiVAN
Three guiding principles inform every aspect of advocacy work: being survivor-centered, trauma-informed, and intersectional. In this course, you will learn about the intersectionality principle and other relevant concepts including privilege and allyship. This course also covers a brief history of the sexual and domestic violence movement, as the cultural and historical perspective of social justice movements relates to the defining feature of intersectionality that all oppression is interconnected.
