The National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA): National Victim Advocacy Workforce Study

Advocates have spent decades making sure survivors are seen and heard. Now it’s our turn. The National Victim Advocacy Workforce Study, led by Rutgers University in partnership with the National Organization for Victim Advocacy, is a nationwide look at who victim advocates are, the work we do, and what we need to stay in this field. The anonymous survey takes about 20 minutes and asks about:
  • Salaries across states and types of advocacy
  • Burnout and resilience in advocacy work
  • Backgrounds, skills, education and credentials
  • What would help our profession grow
Whether you work in a community-based program, a prosecutor’s office, law enforcement, a campus, a hospital, a tribal program, or anywhere else survivors are served, your experience belongs in this data. The survey closes December 1st.

The Center for Policy Research –  Safe Access for Victims’ Economic Security (SAVES) Center National Survey

The Safe Access for Victims’ Economic Security (SAVES) Center is conducting a national survey of domestic violence advocates to better understand survivor experiences with the child support program and identify opportunities to strengthen collaboration between child support agencies and domestic violence service providers.
They are seeking advocates who have experience supporting survivors of domestic violence who are eligible for, considering, or engaging with child support services.
The confidential online survey takes approximately 20 minutes. Participation is voluntary.
