With Survivors, Always
We know Michigan advocates are doing outstanding work in serving those who have experienced domestic and intimate partner violence. Thank you for all that you do every day and every month, and thank you for letting us be a part of it as we stand with survivors.
In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we pulled together this collection of resources, trainings, and other material centered on domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and gender-based violence. The collection includes information on boundaries and expectations in relationships, economic and financial abuse, “going missing” and GBV in Indigenous communities, and more. As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you’re looking for more!

Boundaries & expectations
Love is respect
“Our expectations help us think about what our boundaries are, and our boundaries inform our expectations. When boundaries are set, there’s an expectation that they will be respected, and setting boundaries helps us know what to expect in our relationship. Having agreed-upon boundaries and expectations gives partners a layer of security in the relationship that helps build trust.”
